Hi, I’m Kevin McIntosh.
I’m proud to say that I have 20 years of advertising and marketing experience. I’ve been fortunate to work on the marketing campaigns of over a dozen Fortune 500 brands including RCA, DuPont and BB&T. And I now work full-time in communications for the global headquarters of a very exciting Christian non-profit.
My first entrance into social media marketing was on a campaign of a Fortune 500 brand in early 2006. A lot has changed since then.
Social media is a blend of several disciplines. PR. Branding. Web analytics. Customer service. And SEO. If I thought about it, I could probably list even more like sociology, psychology and anthropology.
My professional background is primarily branding which entails knowledge of the social sciences as well as creativity as it applies to marketing. But in the hundreds of hours of research and real working experience, I’ve also gained a lot of knowledge in terms of analytics and SEO. And I’m getting solid results with what I’m doing.
Social media marketing is a vast new territory and it’s evolving at a rapid pace. I hope to help you gain a better understanding of how to use it to accomplish your marketing objectives.
